Universal Studios Orlando Expansion

Central Florida’s 2nd largest amusement park will double in size with the addition of a new theme park called Universal's Epic Universe.

Universal's Epic Universe

  • Announced in August 2019, Universal’s Epic Universe will join Universal Studios Orlando, Universal’s Islands of Adventure and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
  • The new park will be located 5 miles southeast of the existing theme parks within a 750-acre site
  • An entertainment center, restaurants, hotels and retail will also be included
  • An estimated 14,000 jobs will be created for the new theme park along with an $11 billion economic impact expected

Endless Summer Resort

  • Endless Summer Resort will include two sister hotels – Surfside Inn & Suites and Dockside Inn & Suites
  • Surfside Inn and Suites is now open and features 750 rooms and suites
  • Dockside Inn and Suites opened in March 2020 with 2,050 rooms and suites
  • This new resort is located 1.1 miles north of ICON Park, across Interstate-4 from the Universal Studios Orlando existing theme parks
